16 Years
16 years ago today I was brought into this world by a beautiful and determined woman I call Mom and a smart and nervous man called Dad. If it weren’t for Mom and Dad who knows where I would be, still half egg and half sperm? still floating around in space? maybe in a different body with different parents and a different life. Whatever the case, I’m glad I am where I am with the parents and the friends I have. 16 years is such a menial, insignificant, little blip of time on the grander scale but these 16 years only mark the start of the long, adventurous, difficult, beautiful life I plan on living along side my loving parents, amazing friends and supportive family.
Thank you all for giving me the best 16 years I’ve ever had.
